Are you a skilled Cloud Security Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a complex and high-profile government program? Join our team and be a part of cutting-edge technology solutions that drive cyber engineering and integration services, all while supporting a top-tier US Intelligence Agency. We are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Cloud Security Engineer, bringing expertise in cloud computing services, security controls, and data analytics infrastructure.

What you will do...   

  • Implement and maintain security controls for cloud computing services such as AWS/C2S, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, and VMware.
  • Architect, design, and engineer cyber solutions, focusing on security, authentication, identity management, authorization, and access control.
  • Contribute to the engineering of a large Splunk Data Lake, supporting software design, development, and testing activities.
  • Collaborate with technical representatives across divisions to build relationships and ensure effective communication on cybersecurity matters.
  • Provide expertise in cloud security by achieving and maintaining AWS Certified Security Specialty (preferred).
  • Contribute to security development and operations (SecDevOps) methodologies, ensuring the program's adherence to STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various security tools, including Nessus, Splunk, WebInspect, and Xacta.
  • Engage in PKI implementation and manage virtualization experiences, including VDI and VMWare.
  • Leverage your cloud expertise by working with public, private, and hybrid cloud environments such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.

What you will bring…  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in engineering data analytics solutions, with a focus on Splunk data lake infrastructure and Enterprise IT situational awareness.
  • Proficiency in one or more cloud computing services and technologies, such as AWS/C2S, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, and VMware.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security controls and their implementation.
  • AWS Certified Security Specialty certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with software products associated with cyber system engineering for data analytics, including SQL security, TANIUM Endpoint Management Software, PowerShell, McAfee, App Blocker, and Splunk ITSI.
  • Experience with software development environments and tools, including Linux, Python, C, Bash Scripting, Perl, SQL, Splunk Phantom, UBA, and UIPath.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development and SecDevOps methodologies, including on-site customer engagement.
